Operators for the machines you run, from Denman across the Upper Hunter and the Hunter Valley to Tamworth.

1800 Mr Excavate has grown. This is what we do now, how the work runs, and how your business can register with us.

Operators only

We supply experienced, ticketed and insured machine operators to civil, construction and farm works. We do not hire out machines. We supply the people who run them well, with the records to prove it.

  • Machines: excavator, dozer, grader, loader, skid steer, HR truck, articulated and haul truck. See the operators we supply.
  • Dry hire or idle plant: got a machine without an operator, or plant sitting idle on site? We supply the operator to run it. You keep the plant arrangement you already have, and we bring the seat time, the tickets, the insurance and the daily paperwork.
  • Where we work: based in Denman, across the Upper Hunter, the Hunter Valley and north to Tamworth. Sites more than 80 km from Denman attract a living-away-from-home allowance or paid travel.

Every job runs on the 1ME platform

You book online. Your operator does the machine prestart, the Take 5 and the SWMS sign-on on their phone, and the app works with no signal. Hours are logged on the day against your job. The invoice matches the hours, with the safety records attached, and it goes to Xero. How the platform handles work and a person's information is on the platform page.

I'm available

I'm taking bookings on the tools myself. I'm also happy to talk through your next job, or how your projects are resourced. Call 1800 MR EXCAVATE (1800 673 922).

Register your business

Principals and civil contractors can now register their business. We check every business and approve it, usually within one business day, and email you when you're approved. You log in with the email you registered with, and we send you a code each time.

  • Every approved business gets our industry updates in the client portal: methods, technology, work awarded in the sector and plant that is actually for sale. You can choose to have them emailed as well.
  • If you need operators, tick the box when you register, and we switch on Book an operator. Choose the machine and dates, pick from the operators who are free, agree the terms and add your purchase order. We confirm the roster.

Already approved? Log in to the client portal. New to us? Register your business.
